About This Site

Medicalrhetoric.org has been created to promote the study of medical rhetoric, and to support interest in that study. The main function of the site is to be a source for information, a function that will be more successful if viewers contact the webmaster with information that can be added. This site can grow, and hopefully will grow, if there is interest. Submissions are invited for every section of the website.

The assumed audience for medicalrhetoric.org is undergraduate and graduate students, professors and scholars, and possibly journalists or health professionals with an interest in the subject. We are open to suggestions of what may be of interest to different members of the audience. One possibilitiy not yet on the site is a section for syllabi or class materials from medical rhetoric classes.

The medical rhetoric logo on the site is freely offered to anyone for nonprofit promotion of the study of medical rhetoric. It may be used either online or in print form.
